Mozilla Working on an Open Source Mobile OS - Boot to Gecko (B2G) Project

So it has finally been revealed that Mozilla also wants to enter the world of Mobile OS's, Their most recent Project which they call it Boot to Gecko (B2G) has now been revealed. This internet browser giant has launched a Boot 2 Gecko(B2G) project. Similar to Firefox B2G is also an open source project which aims to clean up mobile fragmentation.

Unveiled to the public under the mantra “Booting to web” the B2G project is in embryonic stage at this point in time, but taking into consideration the strong support from its large community, this emerging open web platform is bound to move forward quite fast. The emphasis on the new proposed mobile OS will be on standards-based Web technologies as Mozilla’s aim with the OS is to create an environment where web-apps are as, if not more, important than native apps.

Mozilla has definitely Mozilla has launched this new project to build a web based open source Smartphone and Tablet operating system to counter Google’s Chrome OS.

Mozilla researcher Andreas Gal wrote on a blog post that the source code of the operating system will be released to the public in real-time, meaning that developers will be able to get their hands on the updates as and when they are created. According to him:
“We will do this work in the open, we will release the source in real-time, we will take all successful additions to an appropriate standards group, and we will track changes that come out of that process. We aren't trying to have these native-grade apps just run on Firefox, we're trying to have them run on the web,"
Mozilla will be working on following Areas to make this Operating system more perfect,

    • New web APIs: build prototype APIs for exposing device and OS capabilities to content (Telephony, SMS, Camera, USB, Bluetooth, NFC, etc.)
    • Privilege model: making sure that these new capabilities are safely exposed to pages and applications
    • Booting: prototype a low-level substrate for an Android-compatible device;
    • Applications: choose and port or build apps to prove out and prioritize the power of the system.
Other than that, If you remember Mozilla also showed off a cellphone prototype submitted to the Mozilla Labs' Concept Series by designer Billy May. Dubbed the Seabird, it explored the idea of an Open Web phone based on Android, with an 8MP camera, two pico-projectors and inductive wireless charging, a Bluetooth/IR dongle. You can check out that concept Video below:

Guide: How to create RSS Feeds for Google+ Profiles and get updates

After Facebook,  Google + is now the Second most fastest Social Network right now with more than 10 Million users. So being an Google+ user you'll definitely want to become a power user and want to follow other users posts. And create RSS Feeds to get the recent updates from them, but wait, Google+ dont let you create RSS feeds, so how should you do it.  just follow some simple steps we have posted below and you'll get it.

There are several methods available on the internet to accomplish them but we will look at two of them, Check them out below:

    Create Google+ RSS Feeds:

    First Method:

Visit the Unofficial Google+ User Feed creator at plusfeed.appspot.com which lets you create the RSS feed for any Google+ Profile. Its very simple to use.

Lets say our Google+ profile url is
    https://plus.google.com/117420368760274729369/posts

So we grab the unique long number for our profile
    110720484075426485909

and add it to the url plusfeed.appspot.com and we get a url like this
    http://plusfeed.appspot.com/1174203687602747293699

This is a RSS feed url. Simply add this to your Google Reader and you can track all our Google+ updates.

    That was Simple :)

    Second Method:

The second method is creating RSS Feeds through an online service, FeedDude. FeedDude is a useful web service which can be used to create RSS Feeds for any website which does not provide RSS feeds. You can easily create RSS feeds for Google+, Facebook or Twitter using FeedDude so that they can be added to any feed reader.

So you just have to Copy the Google+ Profile Link, And paste it in DudeFeed. And CLick Get RSS

After creating the feed, it will give you the link to download the created feed. You can download the RSS feed and add it to your desktop feed reader.

    [Or]

You can also copy that link given by DudeFeed and paste it into Google Reader to get the Feeds.

    Thats it.

Google+ Reached 10 Million users at the end of it's Second Week [Report]

Google+ is no doubt the second fastest growing Social Network after Facebook. And it's has been reported that Google + had reached almost 10 Million Users at the end of it's second week. This report is not official but an estimate.
This report has been estimated by Paul Allen, the founder of Ancestry.com (not to be confused with Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen). So how did he estimated this number?

My surname-based analysis shows that the number of Google+ users worldwide reached 7.3 million yesterday (July 10) – up from 1.7 million users on July 4th. That is a 350 percent increase in six days. The userbase is growing so quickly that it is challenging for me to keep up, since the number of users of any given surname (even the rare ones I am tracking) seems to be climbing every day. More impressive than last week’s growth is the astonishing growth in users from yesterday at mid-day to tonight — a 30% jump. My latest estimate tonight shows approximately 9.5 million users. This suggests that 2.2 million people have joined Google+ in the past 32-34 hours. I project that Google will easily pass 10 million users tomorrow and could reach 20 million user by this coming weekend if they keep the Invite Button available. As one G+ user put it, it is easy to underestimate the power of exponential growth.
So, Google+ has approximately 9.5 million users worldwide, with 2.2 million joining in the past 32 to 34 hours. Allen also found out that Google+ is especially popular overseas with one US user for every 2.12 non-US users.

Google+ is growing with an constant pace and if this keeps growing at the same pace then Google + could easily amass a hundred million users before the Fall, at which point Facebook might wanna hit the panic button. And it is also expected that this ratio is likely to change over time.

Google itself haven't revealed any Statistic about Google + as this report is not official but somehow this report also seems to be exact.

Google Broke the Highest Traffic Record, Reaching 1 billion unique visitors per month [Report]

It's been recorded for the first time that any site have reached this much of traffic. And Google have gained this achievement reaching One Billion Unique Visitors on the month of May. This statistics data has been collected by ComScore. According to their report, and to be more Precise, Google's sites traffic rose by 8.4 percent from 931 million a year ago to just over a billion--1,009,699,000.

Google’s unique visitors per month have increased 8.4% to just over one billion. During the same period, Microsoft maintained the No. 2 position with 905 million unique visitors in May, up around 15%, while Facebook’s count surged by 30% to about 714 million visitors. In May, Yahoo saw 689 million visitors, up 10.8% over the past year, though it was surpassed by Facebook in October.

It's been believed that Google's Search Engine and Gmail Services has got more market share than before, and also and the company bought video site YouTube, among other moves that led to its rise.

But the Interesting part is, Google has achieved more traffic than Mircrosoft or Facebook. But the Site on which users spends more time is still facebook. Users spend 250 billion minutes in May on facebook, compared with 200 billion minutes at Google and 204 billion at Microsoft.

So this means Google has remained successful in gaining this much of traffic, but the report reveals that users love to spend time on Facebook not Google.

Google Earth revealed Apple's iCloud Data Center in North Carolina [Image]

As we know WWDC is going to start in a few days, and We all are sure that Apple is going to revealed their iCloud service as well as iOS 5 and the new Mac OS. But here we've got an Interesting news which Apple didn't want to tell their fans for a long time but finally Google Earth has revealed it.
Apple's new Data Center in North Carolina has been revealed, the Image which you're seeing below is taken from Google Earth. It shows the 500,000-square foot site Data center which is situated at Maiden a small town in North Carolina.

    Philip Elmer-DeWitt of Fortune Explains:
But if you asked Google Earth or Google Maps to show you the intersection of U.S. Route 321 and Startown Road — where the data center is located – the current satellite imagery stopped a few yards short of the construction site. West of Startown Road, there was, as recently as two weeks ago, nothing but woods and farmland and a bit of driveway that ended abruptly in the middle of a field.

After Apple’s announcement Tuesday that Steve Jobs was ready to reveal iCloud — the “upcoming cloud services offering” presumably based in Maiden, N.C. — we thought we’d give Google Maps another try.

Lo and behold, there it was: A huge, white, nondescript building with a road leading in, a road leading out, and almost no employee parking.

Facebook Vs. Google : A war for nothing

Facebook appointed a higher PR(Public Relation) firm to educate the journalists about what google is treating about your private information. The name of the PR company is Burson-Marsteller.You can blame Burson-Marsteller for its step to this stupid plan. Also it is not clear that a network like Facebook why did this rookie mistake.

The concept is simple. You cannot do an workshop and cannot expect for your good performance in the competition in the race.Rater you can highlight on your services to your users and make plan to improve it.
Google social circle is not a new thing which people have used for a couple of years. It was introduced in 2009 when Google unveiled its social search experiment. At that time this thing was described well. You also need a google account also to connect through it.

Howcome Google can make your private information insecured where you have your own tools to privatize which part of information you want to show to the world in your public profile.
So the conclusion may be written as Facebook should apologize for its poor judgment.
