Apple released iTunes 10.5 Beta 9 to Developers [Download]

Apple has again released another Beta for iTunes 10.5, It's Beta 9 which brings some Bugs fixes and Performance improvement, as well as the needed support for users to continue using iTunes Match beta. Other than it's also been mentioned in it's release note that iCloud libraries will be erased after this beta.



Apple will surely release the final version before the iPhone Event on Tuesday.

Guide: How to get the new Facebook Timeline Profile [easy steps]

So today at F8 Conference facebook revealed something really awesome, they unveiled new features of Facebook which will totally changed the looks of Facebook and transform it into something new. So if you didn't missed the event you would know Facebook revealed the new Timeline Profile which totally change the layout of your profile. It's available for Developers only, as it is not available right now for users so Techcrunh got some time to write a detailed guide on How to get Facebook Timeline Feature in just simple steps. See those simple steps below, perform them correctly and get the new Timeline Profile:





Important note:
- You probably don’t want to do this unless you’re actually a developer. Expect bugs.
- Only you will see your timeline at first (unless you decide otherwise), but your timeline will take over your homepage after a few days. My timeline was automatically hard-set to go public on September 29th.
- It seems that if you login into Facebook on another machine, Timeline gets disabled automatically on all of your machines. With that said, it seems you can get back to your timeline (but ONLY after following the steps below) by navigating to http://www.facebook.com/YOURUSERNAMEHERE?sk=timeline
- You’ll need to have a “verified” account for one of the steps, which means you need a credit card or phone number attached to the account.
Here’s how to Activate And Enable Facebook Timeline Right Now:

• Log into Facebook
• Enable developer mode, if you haven’t already. To do this, type “developer” into the search box, click the first result (it should be an app made by Facebook with a few hundred thousand users), and add the app.
• Jump into the developer app (if Facebook doesn’t put you there automatically, it should be in your left-hand tool bar)
• Create a new app (don’t worry — you wont actually be submitting this for anyone else to see/use). Give your shiny new app any display name and namespace you see fit. Read through and agree to the Platform Privacy agreement. This is the step you need to be verified for.
• Ensure you’re in your new app’s main settings screen. You should see your app’s name near the top of the page
• Look for the “Open Graph” header, and click the “Get Started using open graph” link.
• Create a test action for your app, like “read” a “book”, or “eat” a “sandwich”
• This should drop you into an action type configuration page. Change a few of the default settings (I changed the past tense of “read” to “redd” — again, only you can see this unless you try and submit your application to the public directory), and click through all three pages of settings
• Wait 2-3 minutes
• Go back to your Facebook homescreen. An invite to try Timeline should be waiting at the top of the page

Samsung Galaxy S 2 has the fastest GPU than any SmartPhone around [Benchmark]

According to a new Benchmark of Samsung galaxy S II taken by Anandtech, during their review of Galaxy S 2 they've found that this smartphone have got the fastest GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) than any smartphone right now available. It’s the first smartphone to use the graphics processing unit based on the Mali-400 core from ARM Holdings, a fables chip maker from the UK.




The GPU of Galaxy S 2 is called as Exynos 4210 and it combines a dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU core and the aforementioned Mali-400 GPU sporting four cores.

Samsung implemented a 4-core version of the Mali-400 in the 4210 and its resulting performance is staggering as you can see above. Although it’s still not as fast as the PowerVR SGX 543MP2 found in the iPad 2, it’s anywhere from 1.7 – 4x faster than anything that’s shipping in a smartphone today.
It’s also nearly four times speedier than iPhone 4′s 800 MHz A4 chip which has the PowerVT SGX535 GPU core. However, the 4210 falls short in the triangle throughput department.

Rather then just being best in smartphones the Exynos 4210 is more than twice as fast compared to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 that runs Nvidia’s Tegra 2 chip.

Some developers at XDA has now found a way to Overclock the new HP TouchPad to 1.9 GHz on both cores. So if you're the who got this new TouchPad recently with reduced price of $100 and you want to try something new with it, you can do it now. According to developers HP TouchPad can be overclocked to 1.9 GHz but there are some issues as most of the devices are getting freezes. So if you dont want that 1.9 Ghz mark, you can try to overclock it to 1.7 Ghz.





UnixPsycho’s Kernel as of 8/27/11 sometimes does not overclock the second core. This is widespread and many experience this. An alternate Kernel to download is Warthog. Warthog’s Kernel can do 1.7Ghz on both cores. If Unixpsycho’s Kernel does not work correctly for you, you can simply uninstall it VIA preware, restart your HP touchpad, find and install Warthog’s kernel via PREWARE, and restart your HP touchpad again. This could be good for you as well

• No noticeable effect on battery (stock usually pulls 550mah and 1.5ghz is pulling like 565mah.
