iOS 5 Beta 2 will Block you from Unlocking your iPhone using Gevey Sim [Warning]

It has just been confirmed by the iPhone Dev Team hacker MuscleNerd that the newly released iOS 5 Beta 2 will Block all the possible ways to unlock your iPhone including the Gevey Sim Method. So this simply means that iOS 5 will not allow users to unlock the iPhone. So users who rely on Gevey Sim Method and doesn't want to loose the Unlock, they should not update to iOS 5 till now. It is surprising that Apple has locked the SIM Gevey exploits long before the official release of iPhone OS 5 (perhaps pushed by someone).
It is still not confirmed whether the final version of iOS 5 would be unlockable or not. And if this is true then it would be impossible to Unlock the iPhone, unless the NCK Unlock is released. 
Gevey Sim method can unlock your iPhone on any baseband (01.59.00, 02.10.04, 03.10.01, 04.10.01, 04.11.04.). But iOS 5 will then stop it from unlocking these basebands.


Recently an new Gevey Sim was launched called Gevey Sim Ultra which was used to Unlock iPhone 4 without dialling  the emergency number (112), confirmation has been came that it also not working on iOS 5 Beta 2.


So for those Unlock users, If they want to remain in safe zone then do not Update your iPhone to iOS 5. There's no news whether Hackers would be able to unlock the iPhone, but it depends on how hard they work on it. Maybe the unlock is possible, and may be the hacker community will come with other exploits to unlock iPhone running iOS 5.

Users should keep in mind that, there's nothing new here this unlock is for all those older basebands which were already Unlockable i.e 01.59.00 / 04.26.08 / 05.11.07 / 05.12.01 / 05.13.04 / 06.15.00.

Guide: How to Unlock iPhone 4, 3GS running iOS 4.3 with Ultrasn0w, old baseband:


Step 1: First of all Go to "Cydia" then "Manage Tab"





Step 2: Now Go to "Sources" then Click "Edit" and click "Add"


Step 3: Now Write,
http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com
And then click "Add Source"





Step 4: Once the Repo has been added, Just search for "Ultrasn0w" in Cydia and Install it.


Step 5: Click Install, And then Restart your iPhone.


Congratulations, It's Unlocked!

iPhone 3GS Unlock on iOS 4.3 BB 4.26.08 With "Ultrasn0w Fixer" [Video]

The Reknown Hacker and Developer iH8Sn0w has finally ported a new tool to iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3 i.e ultrasn0w fixer. The Creator of this tool is the Msft_guy. And according to him the Ultrasn0w fixer is almost completed and is in Beta Stages, this might be released tommorow for Public.









Note: NO NEW UNLOCKS HERE! FOR USERS WITH BB VERSIONS CURRENTLY SUPPORTED BY ultrasn0w ONLY! PLEASE RTFM!
When 4.3 was in beta stages, msftguy came up with an ultrasn0w fixer located over at: https://github.com/msftguy/ultrasn0w-fixer . Since he open sourced it, I was able to port it over to the official 4.3 public release. This works for the iPhone 3GS atm. iPhone 4 is pending.
What is UltraSn0w Fixer and what does it do?
Ultrasn0w Fixer is the same tool like Ultrasn0w, But it is specifically made for BB 4.26.08 i.e on iOS 4.3. As we have said before their so no new Unlock here. This is for those iPhone 3GS users who have unlocked their Phones on iPad's Baseband 06.15.00. So Now they can also unlock it on iOS 4.3 with 04.26.08 Baseband.


Will it Work For iPhone 4?
iH8Sn0w and other Team members are working on it, As soon as the Unlock for iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3 / 4.2.1 / 4.1 basebands 4.10.01 / 3.10.01 / 2.10.04 will be available. You'll be able to Unlock it with this Tool But Not Now!





Ultrasn0w Fixer Release Date?
According to iH8Sn0w, He'll release this New Tool With an Updated version of Sn0wbreeze Tommorow only for iPhone 3GS.
He'll give an ETA for iPhone 4 Later.
