Telecommunication Resume Writing Tips


    Most of the Telecommunication Companies HR all over the world recommend the below format of Resume:
     
    Name
    Address
    Contact Information
    Experience Summary:
    Write down what your job title is and the types of tasks you have performed. Include any intangibles such as your computer skills, communications skills, supervisory and leadership skills, etc.

    Skills Summary:

    Write down the specific products and/or technologies you have experience working on.

    Work History:
    (List your jobs in reverse chronological order starting with your most recent position. Make sure you include dates of employment).

    Company Name (if it was a staffing company put the client name then “Contractor” in parenthesis.
    Job Location
    Job Title

    Dates of Employment (Month and Year)

    Be sure to list your daily responsibilities, the products you worked on and what you did with those products.
    It is OK to use bullet points for each separate task.

    Education
    Schools attended     Degree Obtained      Dates Attended

    Technical Training
    Schools attended     Degree Obtained      Dates Attended

    Other resume tips:
    • Make sure you resume is up to date and contains your most recent experience.
    • Make sure you use an easy to read font. (Times New Roman 10 or 12/Arial 10 or 12).
    • Use bold font in the section headers and the company/dates of employment/job title/location sections.
    • Use the same format for your job history throughout the entire resume.
    • Use the same grammatical tense throughout the entire resume.
