| Student and Teachers in the workshop |
East West University Telecommunications Club (EWUTC) arranged a workshop by the title“BTS Hardware Setup”. It was held on May 26, 2011 at the Telecommunication Lab of EWU. The session on BTS Hardware Setup was carried out by S.S Dey Nippon, Consultant & CTO of NGN Teleservices.
The programme was attended by more than 40 enthusiastic students of various Engineering departments. The four hour presentation by S.S Dey Nippon was full of Tips & Tricks. Mr. Dey started off with the basic concepts of telecommunication network. Later he moved on to other sectors such as GSM architecture & microwave transmission. Moreover students are able to correlate the theoretical knowledge with the practical one.
The participants found the workshop very effective. After the session the students participated in a short quizcontest and four of them awarded attractive prices.As a token of appreciation, Md. AsifHossain, Senior Lecturer of the Department of ECE& Moderator of EWUTC handed over mementos to the instructor. The programme ended with a speech by Md. Asif Hossain, Moderator of EWUTC.
